being a student.

Dalia Jaad is a movement educator, Pilates instructor, and studio owner based in Montréal. She specializes in working with athletes — helping them develop the control, body awareness, and resilience that performance and longevity both demand.

Balanced Body Comprehensive certified with a background in competitive dance, Dalia brings a precise eye and a deep understanding of how bodies move under pressure. She has worked with professional athletes across multiple disciplines, including the Montréal Alouettes and Montréal Canadiens.

Alongside her work with athletes, Dalia mentors emerging Pilates instructors — helping them build the teaching depth and movement literacy to work confidently with complex, high-performance bodies. Her practice is grounded in the belief that the best instructors never stop learning.

The Method

We believe movement should build strength, awareness, and resilience in the body. Our approach combines the principles of classical Pilates with modern performance training — developing strength, mobility, control, and coordination so that clients move better both inside and outside the studio.

The Space

With small group sizes and personalised instruction, each session is designed to meet clients where they are while helping them progress safely and intentionally. Studio Jaad is a private environment built for focus — no ego, no noise, no factory energy.

The Client

Sessions are built around you — your sport, your training load, your body. Every exercise has a reason. The goal is never simply to work harder, but to move with more awareness and efficiency. Real progress is built on understanding, not repetition.

The Result

Athletes who train here leave with more than strength. They leave with body knowledge — an understanding of how their body moves under load that carries over into every other aspect of their training and performance.

Sessions are kept intentionally small. Not as a limitation, but as a commitment — to real coaching, real progression, and results that last. Four people in a class means four people who actually get coached.

Every exercise has a reason. The goal is never simply to work harder, but to move with more awareness, control, and efficiency. Mindless repetition builds habits. Intentional movement builds intelligence.

understanding.
When clients understand how their bodies move, they become stronger and more resilient — and they stay that way longer. The educator's role is to give people knowledge they can own, not dependence they have to maintain.

The best teaching comes from an instructor who is still learning. This practice is always evolving — in method, in clientele, in the questions we ask of ourselves and of the body. Curiosity is not optional here.
How this began

"Studio Jaad was built deliberately."

After a career in enterprise tech, Dalia left to pursue the thing she actually cared about — movement, teaching, and the intersection of the two. What started as a personal Pilates practice became a certification, then a studio, then a clientele that includes some of Montréal's most serious athletes.

The studio exists for people who take their bodies seriously. Who want to understand what's happening — not just feel it after the fact. Who are willing to check their ego at the door and do the work with full attention.
